OEA is a qualified study abroad advisor and counsellor training company for Education Agencies based in India and was formed in 2014 by CEO and founder, David Fallon.
35 years as a journalist working across many sectors including Education led David Fallon to India on a fact-finding mission in 2014.
Asked to present seminars on the advantages of studying abroad, he was then offered a career in the sector.
Working out of Chennai initially before moving to Hyderabad, he has advised and trained staff in numerous offices and cities across India.
Numerous direct University contracts were signed off through their respective International Offices for Agencies and client relationships were also maintained.
In January 2024, David Fallon joined LEO Global Overseas as International Director. The role will include expanding LEO Global Overseas portfolio in the UK, North America, Ireland, Europe, and Australia, along with staff training.
David Fallon is a qualified British Council Assistant and Associate Counsellor, IEAC Ireland Advisor, ICEF France Advisor, and ICEF Agent Advisor.

Optimise Education Abroad (OEA) offers Study Abroad support to student recruitment companies, students, and the education sector for third-level education abroad.
OEA 1-1 counselling of students, either in person or by video conferencing, is one of our most important services. The student must be given the correct guidance depending on their subject, grade, and destination country.
We support student recruitment companies who require staff training for study-abroad countries so they can advise, process, and assist students in making their decision to study abroad. Presenting the UK, North America, Ireland, Europe, and Australia as study-abroad destinations at Indian Universities and Colleges is an additional service.
OEA’s services are available to all Educational consultancy companies in India and across South Asia. OEA also refers students for processing to agencies we work with.
Founded by David Fallon, OEA advises the study abroad sector where it counsels students, advises education consultants, and partners with institutions in India and other countries.
As a former international journalist, and radio and TV presenter, he has met numerous educationalists and students as part of his work and many influential people such as Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton.
David Fallon’s work experience in the UK, North America, Ireland, Europe, Australia, and India, in the education sector over the past number of years has given him a great understanding of the the student requirements when moving to a new country.
